To those who want to work in Japan until they return home(December 2,Updated)

It has been decided to permit foreign nationals who are unable to return to their home country or place of residence due to the COVID-19 pandemic and have difficulty maintaining their livelihood in Japan to work (part-time) up to 28 hours a week.

Those who wish to work (part-time) are required to apply for permission to engage in activities other than those permitted under the status of residence previously granted at the regional immigration services office.
